Build Day 131.....Front Suspension #2
The front suspension is now fully built up (apart from the uprights). The steering rack is also installed. The painting of the rollbars has also now been completed.
Moving now to the rear suspension.

The front suspension is now fully built up (apart from the uprights). The steering rack is also installed. The painting of the rollbars has also now been completed.
Started to put together the front suspension for real. Had some issues getting the top bolts for the shocks into their brackets as I'd made modifications to the chassis since I fitted the brackets, but I got them in in the end. So, the bottom wishbones and the shocks are now in place:
Got going again with the car today. I now have the first mechanical bit attached (for good) to the car - the diff. Also been preping/painting the rollover hoops and the pedal assemblies, which will also go on soon. Further coats of paint still to do though.
I've struggled to have time to work on the car as of late, but I did get some time in the garage today. Basically I finished off the underneath of the car by adding another panel at the front of the engine bay (to reduce muck getting to the engine), then I turned the car back round the correct way (hopefully for the last time) and finished off sealing the floor and behind seat panels.
