I made up and tacked on the handbrake mount tonight. Starting to get through the various mounting brackets etc for the chassis. It's basically the steering rack and radiator/intercooler mountings left to do, but I can't do these yet until I get hold of a nosecone for the car (to make sure everything fits).
The last two evenings have been spent completing the steering column mountings. Difficult job to all get lined up correctly so it's in the right position and not clashing with the pedals etc. Pretty much done now, but still needs a little tidying up:
After a bit of a break doing other things, I've spent a couple of hours tonight in the garage. Started looking at setting up the mountings for the Steering Column. Pretty much worked out it's position now. Started to make up the tubes for it, but not much to show yet.
I've been continuing to work on the pedals over the last couple of days. Almost complete now. I've used the Rover pedals, cut and shut them to be straight, then fabricated a mounting plate for them. To this plate is attached the Brake Master Cylinder (M/C) and the Clutch M/C. I've used the sierra M/C for the brake, mounting it at an angle so that the integral reservoir is level. A custom made push rod is used to actuate the M/C from the Rover pedal's Clevis Pin assembly. The Clutch M/C is un-modified as it is mounted the same as in the Rover. Here are some pics (the clutch M/C is not shown):
