Build Day 169.....Plumbing Finished (almost)
Well, as we get towards Christmas I'm not able to spend as much time in the garage. I have, though, spent a few hours here are there over the last week or so to constitute a build day. Basically, the fuel tank is now painted and fitted in the car. I have also finally completed all the plumbing of the engine, except the radiator for the charge cooler water circuit. This will wait until after I do a test start of the engine, as it's not essential right now.
I've also got to finish off mounting the fuel pump and I can start on the wiring.
I won't be properly wiring the car up first off, but just plugging in the original Rover loom and ecu loose so I can try and start the car. Once I know it can be started with the original ECU, then I will fit the wiring properly - don't want to waste time if it doesn't. If not, then I need to look at an aftermarket ECU.
